This example will enable sequence generation on Deals and put the sequence number into the Description property on a deal. Numbering will start at 1 and the generated value will be prefixed with the word 'DEAL' and '-2025' will be added to the end, e.g. DEAL1-2025.
Once the Configuration screen is open, populate the values as follows:
Click Save Configuration and ensure 'Number Generation' is ON:
Because minimal permissions were requested when installing the application, you have to reconnect the application similar to when it was installed. Just follow the on screen prompts to connect it again.
You are now ready to create a Deal and see the sequence generation in action. Just check the Description field on the Deal after a minute or so.
