How the Connection Works

HubSpot exports contacts, companies, deals, and custom objects to your SFTP server on a schedule — as CSV or Excel files.

 

Files come back the same way, matched and imported through HubSpot's own import engine. Credentials are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM), and nobody enters your source system.

This add-on provides a managed SFTP endpoint via SFTPCloud.io as part of a Karana subscription — so clients get secure, scalable, file-based integration without provisioning or maintaining their own infrastructure. That means no dependency on client IT for secure file exchange, and data exchange can start in days, not weeks.
