Planning an Avigilon Alta (Openpath) + HubSpot integration?
Tell us how access should follow your customers and contracts in HubSpot. We'll recommend the right triggers, data model and implementation approach.
| HubSpot Object | Avigilon Alta Object | Direction |
|---|---|---|
| Contacts | User (name, email, mobile) | HubSpot → External |
| Deals | Access group | HubSpot → External |
| Deal properties | Site / zone (building & door access) | HubSpot → External |
| Deal dates | Credential start / group expiry | HubSpot → External |
| Contact & deal properties | Person, credential, group & org IDs | External → HubSpot |
When a deal is won, its contacts are created as Openpath users and added to the right access group for the building and suite.
HubSpot Closed-Won Deal → Openpath Users & GroupRemoving a contact from the deal, or ending the agreement, removes their access with no manual portal work.
HubSpot Association Removed → Openpath Access RevokedEveryone tied to one customer shares a single access group, so adding a member is as simple as associating a contact.
HubSpot Deal Contacts → Openpath Group MembershipOpenpath, now Avigilon Alta, is a cloud access-control system. We build a custom integration on HubSpot's developer platform that listens for contacts being added to or removed from a closed-won deal, then creates or updates the matching users and access group in Openpath — no one has to log into a separate access portal.
Contacts → Openpath users, deals → access groups with building and door access and start/expiry dates taken from the deal; Openpath person, credential and group IDs are written back to HubSpot to keep both systems linked.
On the deal in HubSpot. Your team records which building and which doors or zones the customer should open, and the integration applies that to the Openpath access group — so HubSpot stays the single place where access is decided.
Removing a contact from the deal removes that person from the Openpath access group and switches off their access. Every deal uses its own group, even with a single member, so adding or removing people works the same way for individuals and teams.
Yes. Which deals trigger access, how buildings and doors map to Openpath sites and zones, how dates and expiry are handled, and whether other lock systems join the same flow are all scoped to your sites and processes.
